We hope it is of interest to members of the Society (the Dutch title translates to: ‘A real two-pair-of-eyes-perspective’), if only to show the that fascination with Harriet Martineau’s ideas is becoming ever more international. Ellie gave a paper at this year’s annual meeting in London entitled What if Auguste Comte had translated Harriet Martineau’s ‘How to Observe Morals and Manners’?, which we understand will be published in the forthcoming Martineau Society Newsletter.
