Just to let you know well in advance, so you can save these dates and plan ahead: the 2026 Martineau Conference is going to be held at the University of Cumbria’s Ambleside Campus. From Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th July 2026, with registration and the opening lecture starting on Sunday around 5 p.m. on the 5th of July.
Do not miss the opportunity to be conferencing at this historic place in the Lake District, where Harriet Martineau built her house The Knoll and lived her life actively connected to the natural environment.
